Paddle Paws is a private training group, however anyone interested in joining our group is welcome to contact us.
The group founders originally trained at Watermead South, but broke away to form Paddle Paws and train at a better location on King Lears lake for the benefit of the breed and to have fun interacting in the water with our dogs.
Our aim is to train Newfoundland dogs in water and draught work.
Although we can train to test standards our main priority is to have fun with our wonderful dogs and not allow competative ego's to spoil the fun and enjoyment we have with our dogs.
This lake is part of the Watermead lakes and is at Watermead North,Nr Wanlip, Leicester.
The Lake is supurb with lovely clear water and no mud.
We are very lucky to be able to use it.
